Everything the browser cannot give you
Installed, Axis behaves like the rest of your desktop: it has a place of its own, tells you when something arrives, and keeps itself up to date.
A window of its own
Axis stops being one tab among thirty. It gets its own window and its own place on the taskbar, and it is where you left it when you come back.
Updates itself
New versions download quietly in the background and install when you next quit. It checks on launch and once a day after that, so it stays current on its own.
Proper menus and shortcuts
A real application menu, full screen, and the editing shortcuts your hands already know, exactly where the operating system expects them.
Straight to work
Launch it and you are signed in and looking at your workspace. No tab hunting, no bookmark, no signing in again.
